Virgin Active Academy is the training school that prepares people for fitness professions and supports Virgin Active Italia in its process of expansion and change. The Academy was created with the aim of discovering, recruiting and training talents to be placed and enhanced within the 40 active Clubs in Italy and in the growing market in which Virgin Active operates.
We are responsible for the training, development and growth plans of Virgin Active Italia staff, as well as the training of anyone who wants to become an expert in our sector or wishes to complete and integrate university and professional paths. The innovative training content tested with Virgin Active club members enriches technical training and management, sales and safety courses.
Our programmes include classroom lessons integrated with practical experience within our centres, alongside professionals from the various specialties, with the aim of applying in the field what has been learned in the classroom. Through internships, we facilitate the job placement of graduates and undergraduates who have started or completed studies in sports science.
Training takes place at our Academy and in Clubs throughout the country, thus making attendance easier for students and meeting everyone’s needs.
The professionals who teach at the Academy have relevant profiles and educational backgrounds in the world of fitness as presenters, partners and Managers of Virgin Active Italia. Their continuous growth, curiosity and desire to innovate by challenging themselves daily with clients make our courses practical and focused on their needs.
Digital experience
In line with the digital transformation of Virgin Active Italia, we have created an application platform with the aim of delivering our courses in e-learning mode, through mobile devices and digital applications.
Certifications
Virgin Active Academy is the first training school in the fitness sector that awards Open Badge digital certifications at the end of its courses, in order to map and enhance the skills acquired.
